The "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" campaign week brings together companies and non-profit organisations in Wiesbaden. Here, committed people create diverse values in joint projects, where in the end more than the result counts. Because co-operation and encounters create cohesion! KEGON has been part of Wiesbaden engagiert for several years now. This year - as in 2023 - we supported the Antoniusheim retirement home's summer party on 26 June 2024.
Our aim was to provide the residents of the Antoniusheim with an unforgettable afternoon. From the decorations to the catering, we made sure that every guest felt welcome and had a great time. And we succeeded.
Mrs Schönauer, Social Care Service, expressed her sincere thanks for the agile KEGON service: "I was initially surprised about the pads and pens, but the way they were used professionally and the residents' orders were taken at the table - brilliant! Everything ran like clockwork. Once again, a BIG THANK YOU for everything. Also for the warmth shown to all the residents, staff and visitors."
There was also plenty on offer in addition to the culinary catering. The musical accompaniment invited guests to sing along with well-known folk songs. The musical KEGON employees sang along to "Hoch auf dem gelben Wagen", some with the help of the printed lyrics. The folk dance group also livened up the afternoon with their performance.
We would like to thank Mrs Schönauer and the team at the Antoniusheim retirement home for their hospitality and the opportunity to be part of this valuable community event. We are proud to have been able to support the Antoniusheim's summer party.
