...with the SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master Training or how story splitting really works?

One of the success factors of agile methods such as Scrum®, SAFe® or LESS®, especially in large companies, is the establishment of a process and learning role for all those involved in a project or product development. Especially in larger setups with hundreds of developers, this role is extremely important and just the right lever to improve productivity, quality and the working atmosphere.
While in the SAFe Scrum Master and Leading SAFe 5.0 training the Scrum Master role is just introduced and the basics for working as a Scrum Master are discussed, the "SAFe Advanced Scrum Master" training is about deepening and correctly applying this role as well as the coaching aspect of the Scrum Master in daily work.

On the one hand, this training will sharpen the agile and SAFe mindset once again and many good practices for the work with and among the teams, but also in PI-Planning (the central event in SAFe) it will be imparted.
The good thing about this training is that bad habits of organizations and roles, so called "Bad Patterns", are openly addressed and pronounced and many small but efficient techniques, like different types of story splitting techniques to coach agile teams, are trained.
Since the training is a so-called "Advanced Training", the focus is not so much on teaching the material, but rather on deepening and supplementing it. Kanban, another integral part of SAFe, is also treated as an additional technique.
If you are a Scrum Master and always wanted to know how to get tasks done on time in flow-oriented Kanban and what the Kanban classes "Standard", "Expendite" and "Fixed" mean, this training is right for you.
"Participants can either be active Scrum Masters with at least 6-12 months of SAFe experience, but also the other SAFe process roles, such as SAFe Program Consultants (SPCs), Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Solution Train Engineers (STEs) or people who already have agile basic knowledge and want to sharpen their agile tools in SAFe", says Manuel Marsch, who as a SAFe Coach especially enjoys conducting this training. "Even if we only show a few slides in this training, we still have enough time to work on the flipchart, with post-its or other analogue media, as it does not have the large scope of material like a Leading or Implementing SAFe training", Marsch continues.
